This clever Erasable Quiz Pen is perfect for puzzlers who prefer to use pen for their crossword or sudoku but find it messy when they go wrong.

The black ink 0.7mm rollerball pen uses special gel ink which can be rubbed out using the ever-lasting eraser on the end. It even works on newspapers! With a retractable fine tip and soft-grip the pen is a joy to use. Just click the clear part down for the pen nib to come out.

Even cleverer, because the ink erases due to heat caused by friction when you use the eraser, if you rub-out something you later need, you can recover it by freezing the paper for a few hours and your message will magically reappear! 14.5cm long.

  • This is a very useful pen for the inexpert and skilled crossword addict alike. It rubs out well and is easily retractable and the ink also flows well at an angle. Be sure to buy the refills....you will need them!

    Reasonable results on ordinary newsprint - depends on how long you leave before attempting to erase.

  • The roller ball works (and is erased) very well, but the ink ran out almost immediately and it proved impossible to fit the replacement cartridges. The main pen cannot be taken apart. I am now using a replacement cartridge separately, so have to keep the original pen with me as well in order to use the eraser.

  • Most of my recent purchases are Xmas gifts and can't be commented on now but this pen is for ME! I bought two, so I can always find one. I bought them complete with refills but there is no provision for buying more refills on their own and would like to know why not. The pens are not going to wear out are they? only the ink. Up to now I have been buying Papermate Replay but I actually prefer this pen.
